If you need to see your GP, then you can book an appointment online by calling the surgery. Our appointments are booked at 10-minute intervals.
We offer our patients a variety of appointments including book on the day, book in advance, online, telephone and video consultations via the LIVI App.
We run our surgery by an appointment-only system. Appointments can be booked by telephoning the surgery, attending the front desk, via SystmOnline, or via the LIVI App. We try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor. Appointments are generally face to face, however if the patient would prefer a telephone consultation please advise the receptionist accordingly. Appointments are booked up to 2 weeks in advance, we also have same day provisions in place for more urgent issues, these are released at 8AM each morning.

Accurate Information Entry: When scheduling appointments through the Livi App, it’s important for you to ensure that all the information you input is accurate. This includes all personal details including full name, date of birth, and home address that match to this information held by your GP practice. Accuracy is vital to avoid any discrepancies that could potentially lead to appointment cancellations or delays in your care.
Timely Cancellation: Please be mindful of the importance of promptly cancelling any Livi appointments made through the app if you no longer require them. By doing so, you can free up appointment slots for other patients in need of assistance. This will help optimise our scheduling system and ensure that everyone receives timely care.
At Ashington House Surgery, we offer different appointments to help you get the care you need as soon as possible.
We aim to give you a routine appointment to see a GP within 48 hours of receiving your online request.
If your appointment is urgent, we will arrange for a GP to contact you on the same day.
